please let me know what you think, especially if something sounds wrong. i am playing a gig in a week and i intend to play some of my tracks so i would really appreciate anything that anyone notices that doesn't sound right to them. thank you for listening and/or giving me your opinion =]

I can't hear any obvious production problems; sounds balanced and clean. It is VERY psychedelic, and despite the lack of any kind of lead or melody it doesn't get boring either (often my complaint about music in this genre). Personally I would add a melody and chord progression to it but that is just the way I tend to do things. For what it is I think this is a tight track!

thank you!! =] i did actually dial some pretty coherent melody into it at a few points, but then i loaded my virus into the midi channel that i dialed the melody into and modulated the sounds into unrecognition. after i finish a few more tracks like this one, i think i am going to make a group of tracks with more melodic intentions, i have been thinking about it for a while, but at the same time i feel like i want to get a bunch of the hidden melody tracks out of me first thanks for listening

thank you, and yeah, i agree, i want to get a wider bigger sounding stereo image happening in future tracks...

oh and the tempo thing.. well i produced it all in one tempo, but i am working on an ableton mix of quite a few of the tracks i have made, and so i just soloed the channel that the track was on in the ableton mix and turned off the filters but left the tempo automation and exported it that way, but i produced the track all in one tempo in logic before i put the finished track into ableton.

yes,, you can edit almost any event in FL. just automate that fader up top next to the main volume fader. the master pitch will speed it up, its on the menu. not in the mixer. its gonna change pitch 2.
you can aslo automate the bmp counter on the menu.
