hey mate,
i like the tracks mood.. hypnotic.
but it sounds very bass heavy and squashed/distorted overall? maybe worth to mix down more clean and less hot..

Yes I agree on this It seems a bit over-distorted (or perhaps saturated would be more accurate) and to squished (compressed / limited)..
Personally I think it's missing a third element over the entire tune, during the most vivid part we have a lead and a pad going on (perhaps there's more, but if so it's to curried in the mix).
To easily overcome this, you could use some more sends, with the purpose of being the "effect" stem, where you can dynamically feed any one of the tune's sounds into it at different times in the tune, bringing out more live and variations to the loops that are going on (just imagine a grain delay with 2 or 3 parameters being modulated by separate LFO's, and the same on a reverb unit with a beat repeat to glitch it up, and feeding in real time what you want
