In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

tundraonthetrees-good sounding atmosphere piece. the sub-sub bass you are using is a bit low for the power kick you have in the track. lots of great 3d sounds, but the intensity of the track seems a little subdued because of the bass. for it being as low as it is, i would say compress it with the kick so that it is more prominent. great track over all, think i'll grab your other track too and give it a listen;)

mind reviewing mine? http://www.organicparadox.com/01clips/blink-deeper_devotion-clip41.mp3           www.organicparadox.com

I like the song a lot.

I would like to hear some open HH making the track shoot with energy for the final blowup. I love the bassline But the close HH are EQ too high and the just happen to linger on top of the whole track without driving it too much.

The squeeks need some tweaking to make them evolve through the song... maybe not filters, but some effect which make them mutate and progress through the journey.

I think you have 70% of an awesome track needing the icing on the cake and a cherry on top to breath some energy into the darkness.

BTW I would love to learn how to get such a tight baseline

thanks for the kind words man.

i tell you what, turn up the cutoff on your bass a bit, compress it with the kick, and you'll have super fat bass for your tracks.

i know my eq on the hihats is way off. i'm just gonna remix this instead. keep me updated on your track progress           www.organicparadox.com

Thanks for your review. I changed the bassline and I added a subtle acid line, a new kick and a few more percs I hope you enjoy.

Review/compare the new version if you want @

Heard the new version - other than improving the soundwork (am I right to assume that you do not have studio monitors?), the main problem of the track is that it's too long - the elements are good, but you stick with a certain 'chapter' in the track for too long and it loses the momentum it had. Brutal editing (I know it's hard to do this objectively, especially in the excitement of creating a new track) will give this track a LOT more punch, as well as accenting the percussion a bit more.

I enjoyed this track and found it a lot more creative than most psytrance I hear nowadays. Carry on with this, you're definately on to something here.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

Thanks so much for the review. I will create an "Brutal Edit mix " and I will post it again.
