Just thought I'd throw up a sample of a new tracks I'm working on for opinions, I think I still have to add effects and stuff over the top of it, but I'd like some opinions on the overall melody/groove of it I guess.

Just to kick you in the teeth to start with, the mix is really bad, way too quiet and the kick is way louder than anything else, I think this is putting people off.

It has a great olskool retro and manic feel to it. I think it's a good start. You're right about the effects and stuff, it needs it, and perhaps some more accents on the 8 bar marks.
