hi ppl, im planning on coming to south africa..just want to know the scene there..read some post about some rape happenning..just want to know how safe the place/parties are etc? is there more dark or morning music happenning there? just wondering,looking forward to coming! |

its very safe and very fun. the people complaining are lying or exaggerating things. the scene is almost completely fullon - not very dark but very heavy (think of all the SA producers). and some nice daytime AND night time trance - just dont expect too much Silent Horror or Cosmo (super dark stuff). COME ON!! |

The South African trance centre is definitely Cape Town. Thats where all the huge parties are and where most of the producers live.
I think theres some stuff in Johannesburg and Durban too but the Cape at the moment is where its the biggest. |

Whao filter now you be in S.A hahah i do agree with all the comments i have been to S.A but not for a party or festival but general vacation and it is really fun to be in ...good vibes all around..warm people.
And where the music is concerned you will love the scene south african producers are fucking crazy and hardcore...yeah dont expect too much of DARK ..the sound is as once deathposture said "sonic energy laced with acid" and it totally sucks you in.

yep its close enough to drive.. but will take about.. 12-14 hours if i'm not mistaken? i think its around 1400 km.
otherwise the flights are pretty cheap....
