Nice, but this suggests we are trying to get to a certain point. I think it's about the ride, and the strawberry's you get to eat on the way, because it's a never ending journey throughout strawberry land. I'm not saying you shouldn't have a purpose to your music: ambition can be your best friend, but one day you realize that the strawberry's you've been picking up all along are actually great and you should be happy with it.

Do you actually think that a beginner should get good speakers ? I started only 2 weeks ago

I think it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or not, what really matters is how serious you're going to take your productions.
If you're not sure about it, stay with something cheap and give it some time until you decide.
If you are 100% sure this is what you want to do, then go for it.
You can get some very good monitors for less than $500 (I know that for some people this is a lot, but it'll be worth it)

had i 1600 dollars to spend on new gear when i started out, it would've saved me money in the end. i went through so much garbage starter gear before i got good stuff, which was a huge mistake cause now that i've got a decent setup, i haven't bought a new piece of gear in a good year and a half.

if you're serious about this, and are willing to put in the multiple years it's going to take to learn, you're going to want to start out with at least decent stuff.           Doof Local
