It's not an emulation of something old but of something new.
The Tyrell is the result of a survey by the german gearsite amazona.de.
Goal of the survey was to create an affordable all analogue synth and readers could vote what elements (e.g. 2nd vco, lfo ...) they would like to have in the synth.
And now U-he will release the first emulation of this synth.
If the hardware synth will be built is not sure yet.

If you`ve ever worked with u-he software you should know the soundquality will be awesome. Just check out
Zebra/Ace/Uhbik and you shouldn`t have any worries about that. Who cares about photorealistic GUI`s , as long as it doesn`t look that crappy like surge its ok for me.

Surge doesn't look so crappy to me, it's just too many options on a small surface.
This synth is really deep, and one of the most underrated vst's around, imho. |

Imho zebra has not an incredible sound quality. Sylenth sound is alot better for example.

the xmf filter are some of my favorite in plugins , but zebra and sylenth i don t like much the oscillators but they work great for lot of sounds. |
