Hi! I just finished this song (perhaps my 1st psy song) and tried some simple mixing (volume, pan, eq).

Here's the song:

I would be happy to receive any comment or suggestion to improve the mix! Thank you guys!

PS: you can add me on soundcloud if you wish, it's a new profile so I have no friends

well, as i can't hear the final mix, i'm gonna comment on the first one.

you should definitely put a deesser on the vocals, cuz the sibilants just pierced my ears and the song didn't even start =)

some sounds are really cool and well placed, but somehow, i think, you lack the low mid in the first part of the song... maybe place some melody, like the one that starts at 1min an octave lower, or give some boost to the fx that come and go (not the percussive part). the glitchy perc that goes thru the whole song could use some modifications later on because they get a bit repetitive and as they are right in your face, it kinda warns you out.. cut it, rearrange it, automate reverb sends, delays, volumes, pans, anything to give it a bit more life =)

keep up the good work! =D

@symatix: thanks for your advice! Well, you're absolutely right about the vocals: I was aware of the problem (the sibilant "S" and so on) but I didn't know how to fix it (never used a DeEsser before). Now I'm going to try! Thanks also for the other suggestion, I'll try and see what I can do

Have a nice weekend!
