No it is not same maker as albinio.
Albino is LinPlug as developer + Rob Papen for ideas/concept.
Blue is ConcreteFX + Rob Papen.
Blue is complete different synth concept then Albino.
I think if u get into it it is a nice synth. And it doesn't sound average at all.

I´ts pretty ok, i´ve just tried it and it´s nothing from another world, don´t expect to hear the ultimate vstí, i still prefer albino. |

When I first picked up the albino, I wasn't too impressed with it either. Now I use it in every song. So it's not about your first impression, it's about putting time and effort into making that synth your bitch...

Bagginz is quoted as stating the Albino is closest cousin to the Virus in a software version. He has a nice bank of Bagginz / Eskimo presets available for download. However, he also states that the best thing to do is to build a bank of your own presets. Once I started playing around in the Mod Matrix, I began to see the true potential of this amazing little powerhouse.
One word of caution if you update your 2.1.1 to 2.2 - you must follow Linplug special instructions otherwise you will end up with 2 versions in your VST folder.

Albino & Blue has a Great modulation system
i use tham alot,you can modulate allmost evry knob in those synth's
those synth's are brilleant!!!
