well i aint tried it yet and i cant find the virus ones but i have a pile of Reaktor synths (a lot of new R5 2007 ones) plus old ones for dload if anyone is interested.
hopefully someone wwill re post the virus ones also

yea, meta can you reupload these if you have them? Baphomet engine was what i ment when i asked if you had the ok computer synth, i didn't remember i called it that.
as far as saving the settings, if you tweak something in reaktor without over writing the snapshot, even if you save it by clicking the disk/save thing, it reverts back to what the original snapshot was unless you actually go into the snapshot settings and over write or append it. i've never really had the problem where it loses the entire ensemble.
as far as automation goes if something isn't showing up its probly because the automation ID is something like #756 or something crazy. if you right click on a knob and go to properties, then in the properties window, click on the last tab(the box thing icon, its to the right of the eyeball)at the bottom you will see automation id. usually automation will work if you change it to a smaller number, 1-40 or something. its almost always some huge number if you don't do that.

If you get Reaktor doing something cool with these - bounce it. I'm not sure if it is just these ensembles or Reaktor in general, but Reaktor seems to be somewhat unstable when it comes to "remembering" where your saved Ensembles are, and what the settings in them is, so don't expect everything you're doing to necessarily be where you left it when you save and come back later.
The automation values for these don't always show up in the Cubase

i still can't believe i missed the responses to this thread. the mad scientist thing is like the best complement anyone as ever given me.

spinalpuppet is right about automation issues - the problem is too big number of IDs. But, as I remember there are no problems with automation of the parametres with big ID number in Cubase/Nuendo - but I'm not sure, cause I don't use autamation of Reaktor - I tweak it using MIDI CC. I know that is a big problem in Ableton - low quantity of VST parametres, that can be automated - may be even 256, I don't remember for sure. But Cubase throreticaly can automate 65536 parametres, so there might be not any problems with Reaktor parametres automation, whith to big ID numbers setted in Cubase/Nuendo. But if the problem appears - do as spinalpuppet said, and all will be ok. |

thanks Auralviolence, i forgot what contagion even was.
here is baphometengine with these better filters and cleaned up interface. the envs/table/lfos are in the b view, its alot smaller screen wise.
