it has an interesting 4 bandpass/formanty filter.
I posted a pack of FM synths awhile back here, they might be ok still for the presets but this baphometengineFM sounds soooo much better.
I only got to mess with it for about 20 minutes before I had to go to work. If anyone has some suggestions i will try to add them in. I'm going to try to add a few more lfos tomarrow, better ones too.
I dont want to sound like the reaktor master or some shit though, i dont know what 99% of what the stuff does in this synth under the hood, just how to glue parts togather. |

slyman, u say that u are going to add more lfo's, better ones... Does that mean that u can design ur own lfo's in reaktor? I mean at a really low level, that u can say maximum lfo is this number, minimum is this number, set the minimum and maximum speed of the lfo, the kind of wave it uses? If that is the case, can u do the same with filters and oscs? That i can for example take the technical manual from the virus and then change the structure of the filters from reaktor to design them in the same way the virus filters are designed? I stopped using reaktor at version 3, and in that version u had to make do with the lfo's/filters that were in reaktor, u couldn't change the components themselves, only the way they are interconnected, do i understand it correctly that with reaktor 5 u can actually change the properties/behaviour of the components themselves? |

General disclaimer:
These ensembles are not produced by official Native Instruments programmers and put through hours of beta testing, these are cooked up in a lab by a mad scientist and no guarantees are offered.
If you get Reaktor doing something cool with these - bounce it. I'm not sure if it is just these ensembles or Reaktor in general, but Reaktor seems to be somewhat unstable when it comes to "remembering" where your saved Ensembles are, and what the settings in them is, so don't expect everything you're doing to necessarily be where you left it when you save and come back later.
The automation values for these don't always show up in the Cubase automation lanes on the bottom, the easiest way to automate these is to right-click a knob and do "Midi Learn" and then twist something on your MIDI controller, and then record yourself twisting the knob. Then open the MIDI part where your notes are, "add controller lane", and the recorded knob twised CC channel will have an asterisk next to it. It's often something arbitrary like "foot pedal" or something. However, it is very likely these settings won't be there when you save and come back.
