Taking a listen now.
Nice grooving tempo at the start. Some spacecy type sounds used with a subtle fx, starts to pick up with the introduction of the hats.
Nice roll to the bassline.
Was going well to that lead comes in. It was a bit to toy chest and light sounding for me and i just didn't feel it at all.
Now this is just my opinion but that lead would be more beneficial as a 303 or something a like.
The little glitch type trick just sounded that little bit to random for me...
There is a nice key change thereafter.
I think overall the track is missing that hook/lead to define it. The current one really does sit for me.
However the apreggiatted riff nearer the end is not to shabby in terms with the how appealing the riff is but again let down by the sound of the synth IMO.
I wouldnt like to comment on the overall production as I am listening through my old headphones and it is on myspace.
However it the kick and bass did sound tight but it appeared the overall mastering of the track was not done as of yet so the whole track sat furthr back and sounds like it just needs more colour and lifting out.
But again old headphones and myspace player could be the issue there. |
