Of corse this is a vst for people who can't afford expensive stuff and want a fast solution, but remember this was specially created for psybass, its quite good.
I personally still use omnisphere for bass!

They recon they have used the same engine developed by them that they used for Alien303 so I guess they have written new code yes.

I asked them but they replied it was too much work to convert it to mac versions. So they won't make mac versions in the near future.. Too bad!
