progressive? it is dark in slow-mo!
cool everything except i dont like kick and bass. there is just something wrong about them. like you tweaking same stuff as you would do for higher bpm stuff. but in slower tempo you could make everything much fatter, more legato. more release

also i feel the mix is a bit harsh. hi Adam tweeters!
Must be your monitors mate, everyone else I have talked for feedback so far seems to like kick and bass.
On another note, I could make both fatter, but I would not necessarily get away with more phat on a cheap sound system. so I take the middle road...
And too much release seems to always smear up the staccato in the bass, and I don't like that either, it takes away from the groove!
Could it be that you're overreacting just a little due to another post I made regarding the Adams???
@ Aseem, thank you mate, glad you like... what are your studio monitors if I may ask? Would be interesting to see which ones so I get a new reference as to how my monitors translate onto another system... thank you!

No, they are in balance and mixed well, i mean aesthetically. Biggger fatter drums and bass never heart any small system. Just torn some apart but that r details.

the mix is definitely too harsh. i agree with aseem, sounds like a saturation/overdrive on the masterbus cause all elements have that harshness to them.
about the kicknbass, it sounds fine, but it could be more "organic" and less "static" sounding in that tempo. you have place to work with here. maybe thats what makus meant as well..
all that aside, very nice track already http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel "I've always been a believer in musical repetition to draw in the listener and make the music hypnotic. Another thing I believe in is repetition." Alan Parsons

In my humble opinion they are right about the harshness. Just a little too distorted. And I'd turn down the bass a little. It jumps out! (but just a tad)...

I did have it on 137 bpm before I decided to slow it down... here is a new version of it, the bass has less hp on it, more release, the kick is a small tad louder, I eased up on the high end and the whole track has a bit less compression on it...
@Makus, the swiss grandpas I know are usually cranky

Yes second one sounds much better!.
1.30 i think you could use little less feedback on the delay on one of the sounds.
1.50, nice and smooth transition.
Nice track!.

2nd mix is much better indeed.
now about that "staticness". listen to that
and pay attention to the flow of kick and bass, obviously its kbbb instead of k_bb but still it flows nicely. maybe you want to fiddle a little (lol) with timing of kick and bass. microshift the bass midi to left and right in time a few ms and see if that works or maybe try also to make a kbbb out of it.
just something that strikes me when listening. its fine as is though and could be just down to taste mate http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel "I've always been a believer in musical repetition to draw in the listener and make the music hypnotic.
