it's sounds good to me. maybe little bit more cleaning of sounds can help but not someting crucial.
when the arpg with pretty closed cutoff the delay mask the mix too much. when the cuttoff get open it's ok.
the start of the track is little bit lazy. not interesting.           http://www.youtube.com/user/ChichkeMultiTech

cheers for the comment mate. by arpg you mean the 303 sequence in the beginning? (there are more kinda arpeggiated sounds later as well, thats why i am askin)

and yes, you´re right the beginning is indeed a bit lame. it was meant to be dj friendly so not much action from the beginning (track was made with a dj friend of mine ;-))

anyway, good comment           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

yes. i was meaning to the 303 sequence.
at the start maybe the cutoff is too closed. it's doesn't sounds nice. and the delay at the low frequencies mask the bassline. i think i would start the track with cutoff little bit more open and you should use filter at the delay.           http://www.youtube.com/user/ChichkeMultiTech

i like your sounds but however ur track can sound a lot better dan it is

1) ur percussion is a bit lost in the background as in it needs to come out so i think try high passing it and eq a bit boost the highs.

2)the start of ur track sounds like a build up already. try and have a better intro instead of the sequence playin.... have the sequence come into action a bit later. (i guess this sound is out of a preset in sylenth1)

3) once u have the sequence playing and u want it to be the main lead have other sound play around it mayb some more arps jus running around it to give it more rhythm. some small fx here n dere will always make your sound more filled instead of the monotonous sequence playin time and time again.

hope it helps

hey elastic,

cheers for the comments. ever single one helps! will give a shot at having another intro and blend the 303 in later. its phoscyon btw and not sylenth ;-)

regarding the mixing, i try to brighten things up, especially the percussion as you mentioned..

and yes, i always lack some background fx to make it more interesting. easy to get a good start, hard to finish in the end. at least for me.

peace!
