I bought this about a week and a half ago. I haven't had time to fully absorb all of it, but it's been very helpful so far. Quite nice.

Hi Mark,

Hope you and your family are doing ok after what happened.

I'd like to offer a few suggestions if I may.

The 2 courses offered by Psilopsybian have been solid for the most part. The areas I'd say that have room for improvement is explanation of the process during certain points. Psilo seems to start out the tutorials with explanations, but as time goes on, ends up repeating the same process (the same compression etc,) without going deeper into his thought process.
It would be helpful if he would expand more on the points of why he is doing certain things, and also bypass doing some of those same tasks over and over, in favor of fitting in new concepts we havent already watched. It will keep things a bit more interesting and moving along.

As far as courses, I don't feel the genre specific stuff is as important as delving deeper into concepts of sound design, arrangement, and how to develop a personal workflow. More new concepts to get the brain juices flowing, not reiteration of the same concepts of EQ, compression, etc. I think genre specific tips could be worked in to a more flexible format.

Hey Astralist,

Things are still very Raw and emotional for me at the minute but thats why i am attempting to delve into work to take my mind of recent events.

I will start to create shorter 30-60 minute videos about specific techniques in favour of the full track creation videos.

I will create a post later to get a list of techniques people would like to see covered.

all the best mate,

Cool man, no rush. Just wanted to throw out some ideas to integrate as you see useful, everything you've done for the community has been solid already.

Hope you have fun with the new ideas you're exploring!
