i downloaded a few vids but all i can hear is audio .. downloaded `AVICodecPackPlus2` .. still all i hear is audio .. what codecs and from where should i dl them to get this working ?
btw ..i tried on both windows media player and winamp

aw crap .. now my whole screen goes black if i try open it in the vlc player .. and i have to reboot .. any ideas ?

hmmm mk47 can you please let me know if you are still having problems with the videos?
I dont think this is a general issue are you are the only person to have reported a problem so far.
The files are general AVi so should all play in VLC Player (and do as i have tested them) without any problems.
Yellow Warrior : Glad you like the tutorials, there is a mail link on the site if you would like me to create more tutorials on anything listed on the site please send an email to that address and i will glasly do what i can.

hey .. yup .. i thought there may be some kind of codec conflict .. so i uninstalled winamp , the divX bundle , vlc player .. cleaned the registry ..and made clean installs again .. and the same shit happened .. screen just went black and i had to reboot .. when i try playing it in media player and winamp .. i get audio but no vid .. also .. all other video files play good on all the players ..
anyway .. im burning em now so i can try it on the other computer .. id be grateful if anyone could help me with this issue.

mk47 i am stumped, all videos play perfectly on vlc on all 5 systems i have tested them on....not really sure what to advise, please let me know if u still cant watch them and i will put them into a different format for you.
