Hi Guys,

This is my new site. www.soundmagus.co.uk

I will be putting up Video tutorials on how to create psy trance mostly but general synthesis will be involved also along with a whole host of other tips, tricks etc.

Its still not 100% finished, there will be a request wall where anyone can leave suggestions for future tutorials etc. I will attempt to create video tutorials on how to create a psy trance trak from start tofinish with general plugins, vsts and cubase.

For now i would appreciate you guys having a look and any comments would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Mark

Great idea soundmagus.           When rain dries, clouds form.

Really great idea !

I have a first basic request, the (in)famous drumbass question ....
How do you make a track sound like this ( http://www.elezdyzer.org/drumbass_rendered.wav )?
With this sort of crunchy bass ... I can't figure this out ....

Thanks for showing interest in my site.

As of this moment the Side-chain video is there to download, probably best to download, its around 30MB so shouldn't take long.

EelezDyzer I will be happy to put those presets up if Domi doesnt mind.

cheers

Hey,

Thanks for your comments on my site. The misses is still designing it so it will change but its good to hear it seems to be looking good on all platforms.

Regarding tunes i put my latest 1 up hopefully in the next 2 weeks, just need to finish it first

Good news and a wonderful initiative! Are your tutorials only going to be on Cubase?

I like the first tutorial ( sidechaning with waves C1). It would be great if you could patch the sound from cubase into the recording of the video so that it would be a little louder. It´s hard to actually hear whtat is going on...

Keep up the good work!

Bloodclot - As far as arrangement software goes yes, but i will happily do tutorials on vsts etc if u ask for them via the link on my site.

icedice - u dont actually have to hear whats happening to get the sc to work, just follow the instructions to the letter and you will hear it yourself as you go along.

thanks

2nd Tutorial On the site now.

Just a basic one for Basic Template set-up in cubase sx, so all you seasoned users probably get nothing out of it, except a laugh at ma funny accent by the way big man.

It all just me getting practice and feeling comfortable with hearing my own voice...weird.

cheers
