hey, i am about to buy a new pentium 4 pc
 and i want to know what should i look for in my computer ( memory, ram, hz etc..)
dont give me the new nasa requirements for out of space invastion.. just the normal good and strong p4 for making trance music.

what do you plan to do:
do u want to work on software only ?
do u have any equipment /synth ?
in any case u will need a monitor at least 17''
better 19''.

If you really want good performance, buy two HDs, RAID controller and make RAID-0 (striping). This will give you about 150% HD performance increase, so the tracks will be loaded and saved much fater.
