Me too. When I asked Ott via PM if he'd be carrying CDs for those of us who will see him on tour, he said he wouldn't but they'd be up for purchase on Ottsonic. Hope it's not a long wait!

This release is divine. Amusingly, track 2 (i.e. the one we got early) is my least favorite. tracks 3-6 are utter beauty, my favorite contiguous 28 minutes of ott ever. check #6 on the bandcamp page if you are worried this release is anything short of the ridiculous quality and creativity we've come to expect from ott...
he chooses to experiment a lot with tracks #2 and #7 and I will give the full album many listens to try to get a good sense of them.
I'm pretty fascinated by the vocal handling in this release, especially when compared with skylon. maybe ott can comment at some point..
about CDs. He has said he will try to put those up within a few weeks, but my opinion is that, given that he's touring now and probably pretty fatigued from everything, it may take a while...
anyway, i love him, so i paid for the download, and will also pay for the disc =) |

wow, this album is freaking fantastic.
Ott has the uncanny ability to make deep psychedelic music without sacrificing humor or kick-assery. I love how many of the songs borrow from contemporary bass music, but are so much more interesting, innovative, and fun than the usual drab sounds of dubstep/glitch.
great stuff, i'm really looking forward to many more listens!

First of all, I'm very happy people are enjoying it and thanks everyone for taking the time to say so. It means a lot.
Secondly, the cds are being manufactured as we speak and will be available within the next week or so.
The delay is my fault - I wasn't happy with two of the mixes and had to postpone the mastering while I remixed them which fucked up the whole release schedule. The downloads were able to be released on time [or only a week late] but the cds need to be manufactured which takes time.
I've paid the manufacturer some bakshish to jump the queue and get them made as quick as possible but I'm afraid I couldn't get them to distort the laws of physics. Believe me, I tried.
Those wanting cds - keep an eye on my website - www.ottsonic.net - as soon as they're available it'll be posted up there in a big, ugly flashing .gif along with the usual ads for big cock pills and knock-off Rolex watches.
