That amazes me. That looks like an enlightenment of some sort. Why it doesnt sound like VST? Maybe because there was no VST yet and they had to break thru the technology limits. Visioners!
But lets see what comes next, it is interesting. The lslogan "we didnt forget our synth roots" sounds nice. Maybe some gritty sounding nord lead for dubstep i dunno.

it s a lot cause of the Da and analog stage i guess.
H3000 is best sounding eventide for many cause of this for example, same for the nord, it s big part of the charm i think.
technicaly lot of plugins / or newer hardware are better (it don t mean sound though )
imo plugins need to see the outside of a computer , you run them just into a fooger might make big difference in how real these sound with some transient shapening, peak limiting, harmonics all these things that happen naturally with hardware but not in plugins.
a old/not neutral da stage can easily smooth transients, change the frequency response ,color the sound in a way that is infact more pleasing to the ears than something 100 % Neutral .
even a bit of aliasing may make things sounding better, old DA are not oversampled , filter may be not very steep it might cut in the audible range affecting the transients ect. |

make me think to my metric halo, it s kinda old but well done design, that why it havent been replaced and still sell new , maybe 10 years later if not more... it s kinda colored with good depth i love that sound |

With all analog madness of of late, it's hard to imagine they will produce a 100 % digital synth.

I would not want them to make something analog, I would like them to make a killer digital synth, like they did with the Nord Lead 1.
Plenty of other people doing analog nowdays anway.

i m really septical but hope to be pleasantly surprised by clavia..bring us a nord modular or something that exciting !
digital hardware i see less and less point tough,software are very good sonically and unless you re looking for a classic sound like nord or virus ect.. newer hardware digital dont make much sense.. except maybe if it don t cost a fortune so you get a controller and keyboard + nice sounds.
with so many great analog that don t cost a fortune and so many good plugins.. it s hard time for a new hardware Va, it beter be amazing. |

wow, amazing rich sound! listen to it on studio speakers if you can. trance inducing stuff... and very ballsy 1st demo!
i wonder how many people have listened to it from beginning until the end. i did
if thats 100% nordlead4 without any kind of external enhancement (f.e. a high-end reverb!) then i'm really interested to hear some more.
