Spill here your thoughts over the recent movies you've seen.
I'll start
Eastern Promises. David Cronenberg's recent is a follow up to his much critically acclaimed A History of Violence with Viggo Mortensen in the leading role. This time he goes with the same leading actor that performs a role of a Russian mafia driver with aspirations. Also in this movie we have the excellent Vincent Cassel as a mob officer (you might have seen him on Irreversible) and Armin Mueller-Stahl as his father. Also in the leading female role we have the ever excellent Naomi Watts as the baby deliver. Personally I think that even though the excellent cast and very well drawn characters in this movie the plot really lacks the depth I could expect from such a movie. Also i find the movie very short and under developed which maybe a sign for a possible sequels A-la Godfather. I think it's pretty good movie but I think it could be much much better.
8/10
-1 for the extra violent fight scene in the public bath house.

I really enjoyed that movie.
The scene on the restaurant in rocks, like you'd say.

The shooting-beating-the-crap-out-of-the-guys scene on his restaurant.
When he becomes a famous guy for saving the people.
Good that you asked. It's been a whil since I first say that movie on screen.
I'll rent it this weekend! |

i saw saw4,it was at least satisfactory for my taste!the constructions again are sick.the plot is good though the end coulb be better..if u dig the previous saw''s,this one will be no exception!
