New Mix from ColinOOOD

We just wanted to share with you a stunning new mix put together by ColinOOOD consisting solely of his projects: OOOD/Unconscious Collective/Voice of Cod. Colin is a brilliant DJ, and is known for spinning only his own music. He and all of the projects are accepting bookings for the winter/spring season. We have ......
OOOD/UC : the live setup is 4 people - Colin and Steve from OOOD, and collaborators Ramsay Melhuish (Rama) and Ryo Potier. They perform with live keyboards (not just arpeggiators!), live percussion (electronic and acoustic) and extra live samples over the top of the tracks, and their next project is to integrate live guitar into the set. As you can imagine, with 4 people on stage and so much live performance going on, they give QUITE a show!
As well we have another and newer collaboration between Colin and Andrew Humphries (Organic Records) called Voice of Cod. You can find a couple of their tracks on this mix, as well as VA-New Generations and VA- Psytelligence, both available from Organic Records. Not to mention an upcoming full length ~ Keep an closer eye out on Triskele for the Voice Of Cod webpage within the next week.

well then you will be pleased to hear that it is possibly going to be remixed. Colin has several great artists already agreeing to remix it, and a couple Israelis are included ;-)

Anyone out and about in London this weekend check out OOOD live at The Rocket.
Not long to go and cant flipping WAIT !
Otherwise, Im working my hardest on getting them out to other countries, so hopefully youll get your chance no matter where you are ~!~

Top notch mixing - I was sceptical about Colin only using his own tracks, but it works very well.
Towards the end, older tracks, made me think back in time - enjoying a bit of nostalgia there
Mixing technique is also varied, and as close to perfect as Ive heard any psydj mix.
Id love to hear Colin spin at a party, someone book him for Denmark

Now my djing ego is still intact Still, its interesting to hear something mixed together perfectly.
I think the tracks are a very good alternative to all the regular full on being released.

Mixed with decks or not it is just ooooohhhh so nice... just ordered all the cd's that have these tracks and am busy hunting down older albums Have been playing this mix endelssy for about 4 days now... |
