New member needing help! (Nord Lead 2x problem)

Well first off I just want to introduce myself. Im a young psyfreak who wants to get into the production side of psytrance. I also mix as a hobby, I havent played any parties yet. Maybe soon...
Ive been lurking around on the forums for the past couple weeks now and I must say im impressed with the amount of knowledge here.
Anyways,
I cant figure out why I can get cubase SX3 to play back my MIDI from my nord. I have my own sounds saved to the bank like the manual explains to do. Actually, I cant get any of the presets that are saved in the bank to play back. It only works when I have the nord set in performance mode which are all sounds I dont want to use. Make sense?
Does anybody know why it is doing this? How can I make it play back what I have stored in the bank?
If any nord owners can help me out i'd appreciate it. This is my very first synth so Im still learning.

Never mind!
I figured it out, turns out I forgot to set the MIDI track on the nord. Thats why I wasnt getting any playback.
