The main theme of album “Pure Land” are representations of paradises in various cultures, both Occidental and Oriental. It tends to explore a certain feeling of joy and fulfillment that persists as an intuition in every person, every moment of one’s life, and probably can never be lost.
Some of the tracks use vast classical cinematic harmonies, and some are based on waveforms, floating thru waves and currents of dense masses of sonic atoms. In manipulating these masses of sound particles I used the same nuances and expression, and the same sense of harmony and equillibrium as in traditional music, and even as in playing piano.
Recommended to fans of “Dune”, “Star Wars. Episode 1” and “Final Fantasy XII”.
“Infinity”
Track “Infinity” combines vast symphonic cinematic harmonies with masses of digital sonic particles as made of liquid metals that transform in the end into the fully artifficial sound of a crystalline falling rain. It tends to recreate the end scene of the film "Dune" and is inspired from the final scene of "Blade Runnder". It explores the image of rain as a religious symbol, metaphor and archetype.
“Black Lotus” and “Sunset On Coruscant”
These cinematic tracks depict breathtaking panoramas of a city in the future.
“Nirvana”
An awakening to the final level of reality. The layers under which truth is hidden unfold as petals of a rose. A transcendental voyage to the origin of the universe.
Tracks 5 to 16 are based on waveforms manipulations.
“Pure Land”
Track “Pure Land” is inspired from a Sanskrit text related to Mahayana Buddhism which describes a celestial paradise named Sukhavati. In this paradise everything is made of precious stones and metals in thousands of colours, gold, silver, beryl, crystal, coral, red pearl, and emerald. There are flowers in thousands of odours. There is the sound of birds singing, Indian bells, the sound of river water flowing. Everyone who arrives in this place instantly becomes illuminated.
“Tree Of Life”
Track “Tree Of L:ife” combines the images of Asvattha – the Tree Of Transmigration from Bhagavad Gita, the Tree Of Life from the Apocalypse, and the shamanic concept of the axis of the world.
"Sirius"
A jungle from an alien world.
Tracks 12 to 16 are inspired from the impressions and atmosphere of village Drutsa where I spent my childhood summers.
The material world is an illusion. Life is just a game and this is the most serious way to be. The purpose of life is already won and can never be lost. This world has no beginning and no end, and so is the infinite and eternal spirit within us. Once found a certain proof of the true nature of our spirit, no force in the universe, nothing and noone can influence us.
