New Laptop and BVirus TI Desktop Problem HELP!!

I have a new laptop but i have been having some troubles installing my virus TI. I already ran the latest Installer compatible with Windows Vista but i cannot use the ti as a soundcard. i defined it as the sound card but hen when i open the virus control on cubase it shows me a message saying audio driver ok but not receiving midi or audio infiormation from virus. it is plugged by usb. can anyone help me on this...

Are you sure you're using the same USB port that you initially installed the TI to? It won't work if you install it on one USB port & try running it on another.           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

It is defenetely on the same usb port as the one installed!! Can seem to understand where is the probelm....

-> use a shielded USB cable ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrite_bead )
-> checkout how much USB bandwidth is utilized ...
-> it could be a vista related problem (driver signing and crap)

I had a similar problem... but i dint try to use it as a soundcard though as i have another one. Try reinstalling it by going to the Virus Control.... and goto OS update.
