Ok..
first of all, i admire your use of pantera and other metal bands in the intros of ... tracks.. but that's stealing music from other bands..

worship - all the kicks are on the left side of the speakers. kinda lame..

the melodies are pretty good, and the breaks are OK.. WAY too much noise on the Low freq and mid freq sounds. Lots of distortion.

virtual love - a messy begining, followed by a really sweet part of kick and bass. the snares sound dirty and gritty, distroted as well, not well developed. it shuold have more twists. musically, u have some nice melodies, but they are too monotenous to be taken as a lead part. nice work on the LFOs. again, samples and effects are Overwhelmingly loud and distorted.

Taken by herself - no order and no connection between the parts. some of the parts sound terribally OFFbeat, like u used the shift option too much, or u simply didnt bother to draw the basskick lines properly. messy. again, Volume, Volume, Volume. you have to have correct balance between certain instruments and most of your tracks lack that.

those are the 3 tracks i managed to hear befor i went to sleep.
work harder and perfect their structure, correct the balance and reconsider putting a pantera song in Each and EVERY intro..

No, i dont have bands permission to use their samples but:
a) do u know - u may use 8 seconds of anybodys work in ur own and it doesnt count as law break?
b) i have the permission for using those short samples from the sites, i've got them from:
http://www.flashkit.com
http://www.rockloops.com
c) the bands got credits on my disc covers

But the question is why did u pay so much attention at that short loops of pantera, etc?
They are there, just for fun.. i wouldnt make accent at those foreign loops.
Did one of you realize that i got NO repeat points in any of my tracks? I mean, u cant found the same melody, loop, sequence or sfx, flying around later in the track.. every minute, u hear is unique.

Besides that, i dont use 10-20 synths like most of nowadays trance bands does. I use about 200-300 synths.. and like 1500 sfxs through all the disc. I can easily believe that i could reach much higher quality of sound if i'd use only 1 Yamahas keyboard in my tracks ;)

About "Taken By Herself" - who told ya, that the break parts of the track must be "connected" to each other? I dont do music, which stands any limits - contradictory, im trying to do stuff which DOES NOT suits any limits.

128 kbps mp3 files DOES affect the volumes and frequencies, if u have very much simulatious sounds, playing at the same time...

Anyways, i got no power for further argue.
You dont like it - you keep listening to Infected Mushroom ;)
(personally, i dislike this band but i do like MFG, Astral and Luminus)

Give my tracks a listen in that, "special" state of mind.. maybe than u'll dig it all much better =)

best ones are
"Everything For YOU (SE)"
"Nemesis & Ecstatica (SE)"
"Taken By Herself (SE)"
"Hell In Heaven (SE)"

Best luck to all, i really would like to hear your works (if any).
e@mail me the urls to
discussion@mail.ru

Sincerely

you didnt got the point ray
we wish you good luck
listen to what jason said
it doesnt matter the kbps
i listen to x-dream at 64 kbps and i dont see any distortions so....

just dont be like you are
first you need to be a professional about your structure of the tracks - it's awful

good luck

Ray, using someone else's original work is forbidden withtout permission. the only thing permitted is to take the first seven notes (Not Minutes) of a certain creation, be it a guitar solo or a drum beat, and than use it. giving credit doesnt really matter, even thuogh im sure none of the bands would do you any harm, you still have to be slightly more original than using someone else's work.
good morning.
Jason.

1.
guys if he used music part of other artists he can't really release it on CD without their permission   = Copyrights

2.
Dear Vadim to release your trax u need to think about sound quality too and not only of music creation ( 4 real it's a part of it )

3.
Vadim i want your optimism , thats good 4 artist

You work in a way too chaotic way. Some of the sounds there are in a different scale (and tone) than the rest, and that's very harsh on the ear (only a rare few do this well, and they usually have experience in metal). You overimprovise sometimes. And the melodies just "get lost" after a while. You definately have good ideas, but the lack of organization, the way you overcomplicate the sound (volumes not equal, EQ is very far from perfect) makes elements disappear. You should also pay attention to the structure - trance is also about the proper "flow" of things. You keep putting breaks in the structure - you end up putting breaks in the flow. Notice that even in the more "element heavy" goa tracks there isn't even close to that amount of gaps.

And sometimes one small effect can talk better than an entire passage. Maybe you should first check what would happen if you keep the bassdrum/bassline on the entire track, keep the amounts of elements to a minimum, and keep adding/taking away elements only when you feel you don't need them, and putting passages only when needed and when they add some extra energy.

You say you like Astral, MFG and Luminus, well these acts all know how to stretch there elements, and keep people on the edge without going over the top. You should also learn about sound work from these guys - keep sitting on a sound until you feel you can't improve it. Sounds here are pretty far from perfect. This is unorganized work. A lot of Euro elements (reminds me of samples taken from Purple Motion if anyone remembers that talented Scream Tracker artist :)).

Anyways, a lot of work went into these tracks, but just remember, sometimes less is more. Try and working with your ears more instead of just throwing together anything you come up with.
