from the few tunes i heard of recent goa it s the first artist that i really like as much as the good oldschool stuff, the flow, the vibes.. it s there to blast the floor, really nice , in live it must be great just by judging from this track

It still baffles me that artha isn't more well known. Amazing music.            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

yeah true i m sure my friends will like it.
in a way i agree with beat agency there is nothing new but i like goa so not a problem for me, it s nice if some guys discover that sound and it become more popular again thanks to these new artists , there is so much great tunes. (imo a mix of full on with goa arrangemnt could really work very well and be popular.. good goa with full on production , full on would rip in no time.. the most intresting stuff in lot of full on is technic and not music imo..)

taste its taste...

Why you need to write a totally new kind of sound?
Ok, if you do something total new, and works for you, perfect...its good make something new...but what its the problem to like and write songs similar, with influence of 90's sounds?

Look at green nuns..pure 90's sounds...awesome music...last year watch him gig at Antaris, Ozora, Boom...here in Brazil also...and WTF!!! Good music its good music...timeless!!!

so, as listener I like good music...I love to listen 2010 filteria or goasia sounds with the same passion to love the 1992 Green Nuns or Man with no name music...

as producer, I get the same feel... get influence from both periods...and I dont care if my music will sound like 90's sounds or like 2010 sounds...cause this dosen't matter...the ppl will like if are good music...and will dislike if its not good!!!

I would like if the ppl start to spend less time over-analyzing each-others...and spend more producing something useful...discussion its good, but I disagree on compare "Old vs. New" its a non sense discussion for me...           www.psychowave.net

agree with you, but i just would like to see this scene rocking more, a way to bring way more people into it and not with cheesy music ,dance that have nothing psychedelic.. i know many persons that have left because of beeing disapoinnted in many parties for years or go there but not for the music anymore.. also by the direction psytrance have evolved, it lost juste more and more fans wihtout making as much new ones here.

I think you misunderstood the point.

Its not about if you have a 2010 sound or not. My point is that a lot of artists would benefit (and be much better) if they found their own sound instead of copying.
If everybody copy then where is the evolution?           www.beatagency.dk

Agreed...but I think your definition of "copy" its a bit strange...

IMO creation process...not just in music...consist in your previous experiences...and its impossible to avoid your "library" stuff in your unconsciousness...so, of course some own creation will sound like things you like, and this is not copy.

I agree a lot of ppl copy each-others...but you can't start from this point to analyze any project...you can't say this just listening the sounds...

You know any new goa tune, that you can tell its not copy, and its original? Im curious to know what its original to you...           www.psychowave.net

there is a gap between getting inspired and cloning imo ,i dont mean it s the case, but as a producer sometime i try to sound different and copy stuff but when i m just inspired i still have my own sound.

He has been influenced (just like his music) with old Postford stuff. Thats a fact, you don't need Beat Agency to know that. No matter his inspiration and similar sounding to old Postford stuff, many people find Artha very psychedelic, interesting and creative and thats a FACT too. It's perfect example how to drowe some inspiration from good old Goa vibes and present it nowdays with a help of technology and interwebz. Some will call this copy-paste, but I call it intelligent psychedelic uptempo trance with guts and outstanding feeling for melody.

Still would like to see your favs from this genre (don't hesitate to post more youtube links).           http://www.neogoa.net

I'm a big fan of Anakoluth's stuff. Goa inspired, but definitely not goa.

You can find it on Ektoplazm.            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe
