Over the weekend I got great deal on:

($200 new)

The prices were a once off offer from a shop (well microbrute had to be the full price) but as I"m currently packing up to move in the next 2 months all of these goodies are staying boxed           Cuntus Maximus.

ooh! let me know how easy/difficult it is to put together, been thinking about getting myself one of these and building it to save a bit! which version/maker's kit did you go with?           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

They are fairly easy to put together but they can be some work if troubleshooting is needed. It's a dense circuit. Luckily there is tons of documentation that helps.           Analog/Digital Synth Modules www.toppobrillo.com

cool, that's the way to do it, then you really know what's going into it and can make any of the mods/substitutions you need along the way.           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

Bought another distortion pedal, the MXR M-104

A unique and amazing distorted square acid sound.
Absolutely love it. Bought it used for 50€.
Worth every cent.

Great detail from gentle over drive with many sweet spots, all the way to full blown teeth grinding, distortion.

Dunno which one I have, I just know it sounds amazing and different to the other ones. Between them 3 I have the distorted acid line sound, covered.

example of the x0xb0x going through the MXR with a bit of overdrive (10 o clock).
The melody at 3:05 in this clip.
