damn make noise stuff is really great.. wonder if i should sell a part of my studio to buy that full make noise system and stay locked in the studio the whole winter
the dpo is must have after hearing some demo..but it seems most of their modules are sick
Tried the mininova at a novation presentation about a week ago. Wasn't impressed at all. Just another performance synth with the last dubstep wobbles presets.. Nothing too fancy unless you are starting out with music production imho.

same here mate but the price ouch !
i thought the same until i saw this by amos gaynes at moog and put a new spin on a modular system in the way that all u need is analogue oscillator and filter goin to an amp stsage and then a system like expert sleepers can handle the rest of the control data
in fact if i could get every control voltage
on all three modules hooked into expert sleepers then there would be a way of storing patches with tunes
at the moment its only on paper for me as i still have to sell my ti2 and other bits
yes with es3 and silent way no need much modules to start one..there is also great sounding modules that don t cost much (around 100 dollars ) but when i see all these great stuff that come out it still cost way more than a mono ,reason why i got the Xs first for his semi modularity to built a modular around it (maybe i should have started direclty with the euro rack modular dunno... but love the Xs it s cool as a lot is pre patched its fast to program and imo the components are top notch in it make it good bang for the buck vs modules..)
es3 also help for better pitch tracking, tuning, sending audio, syncro with sample acurate timing..but all the fonctions possible are still vague to me
i m gonna get it maybe next week with silentway to complement the Xs i ll report back ..still debating if i should spend on this or just keep getting used to the Xs first , i mstill far to use the potential of it
Saving up for a Minitaur. Its going to be my next purchase. Very different sound to the Phatty, VCO phase sync and off course 2 more VCOs to add to the 2 VCOs on the Phatty.
i wonder how this thing is good for bassline..but i heard the vco don't track much octave making it more or less limited for leads no idea if it s true
Which is high enough for my leads. Mainly going to use this for bass anyway...anything higher than that, the Phatty will come into play.
