i still like more the dub from Beam Up then anything else,
poorish sound on the previews, let hope they will put something proper to ear online...

usually i dont post about stuff i can care less about..i am just curious how this release got into the ambient/chillout forum at all? because gaudi has done interesting ambient works in the past? this clearly belongs in the electronic section.

but since it is posted here -- been a long time since i was more bored while listening to something. jamaica vocals and beats laid over it.. geez. and this is coming from someone who thinks gaudi is an extremely talented musician.           www.xerxes-music.com

xerxes... there's only 3 "dub" tracks on the album - have you listened to the full album ? there's lots of other great tunes on it too, some of them the breaks style that Mau said were out of fashion and others that are different too.

i've had a full audio quality copy for a while and played it out a fair bit - not in chill out or ambient sets mind you... and I guess that the positive reaction it has got has encouraged me.

it is also a matter of personal taste - i'd prefer to listen to No Prisoners than to listen to abstract experimental ambient. I like the basslines and the groove.

andrew,

sorry, no only heard the one track that was linked in a video previously .. so obviously, the rest of the album could be fantastic. perhaps it was a bad choice for a single, at least for showcasing it in these forums?

Cheers Xerxes - I think it is only cropping up here because there is a historical and current interest in Gaudi and because this forum is the default catch-all location for non trance releases...

The promo push for the album is in a different direction than this forum - it is a different market. The single Bad Boy Bass has had a number of great remixes done, most of which wouldn't strictly belong here either.

Eh. I posted it because I figured those here who like Gaudi would want to know about the new album. Even if it was a different style.
