Hello to anyone interested, I'v posted up a new production (but the first I posted on this forum), my first track done with Cubase SX 3 + plugins , and using Fruity Loops 4.5 for beats. I'm pretty happy with the sound qualityI manadged to get, much better than with FL's plugins. I'll probably be able to wring out even better sounding stuff once I get used more to Cubase and the great VSTs I recently aquired. The song is nothing groundbreaking but it's got some fun parts and it's share of groovy beats. You can d/l the track here :

good kick and bass sound theres an effect on the first synth that isnt sounding goo id say change it all together also the synth after the first change up sounds to low quality takes away from all the other good ones drums good nice break good melodies i can hear the end of a fruity loop in the first break down sounds like the snare is cut short the break thats just the bells and pad synth is good but the pads sound bad (quality) too much noting in the second half it started real strong good quote its nuts try some build ups in your breaks the would be great with a sweep or kickroll and more crashes need them i like the ideas but hey im a sucker for good melodies that fit together well and some of the psy synths are real nice but i think it went downhill after the first break if you change those pads and make the song climax itll be a real nice track.

Thx alot for this very usefull review ! I'll work on the tracks weak points. I checked out yours man, it's incredible, I love dark psy with melodic basslines. I've honestly got nothing to critique about it, you obviously spent alot of time perfecting this one. |
