pretty simple for me...I like the plugin (never used the original, or effectrix) and its relatively cheap for how powerful and nice sounding it is and its from a small developer so it'll be relatively painless to purchase and I'll use it much more than if I just pirated it or effectrix

specially stole effectrix from a torrent to see whats that. well, doesn't have retrigger. stretcher works not so good. generally not as musical as glitch.

ok, the problem was that I copied just the demo dll inside the vst folder instead of copying the entire demo forder
the glich 1 came out before effectrix of course, I was taling about the interface..very similar
ok, it's nice..some effetc sounds more natural than effectrix, need to dive it a little more

I use ableton and while its automation (nothing special in the DAW world) and routing systems are great I think glitch2 is lovely. You're not going to get nearly the same quality of effects from the native ableton stuff

you can never do anything wrong with dblue's works, either renoise (in which he takes a part in the development) or his own glitch plug in that has a lot of potential too.
It definetly wasn't designed for psytrance, it is just lack of skills, originality and creativity amongst a lot of users in this genre, but I fully see the point of PsiloCybian.

been using this plug a lot lately. its so fun to use particularly great to throw on drum loops and automate the parameters of the stretcher and the retrigger slowly with an LFO over time

I hate it when I hear a sequence of Db Glitch in a track, it totally destroys what could otherwise be a great track imo. |
