Well looks like the blofeld has some competition, Dave Smith just came out with a $400 synth.

Check out the details here:

what is "push it" ?

i don't think this synth can be compared to Blofeld, thay are for different purposes imo, Blofeld has much more possibilities, but this one is 100% analog though...           http://soundcloud.com/aedem

I agree, that button is brilliant!

Although it might possibly be a Salt 'n' Peppa sample button :-/

The samples are a bit bland. More of a toy than a useful instrument IMHO.
If that's all it can do, its not worth the money.

The push it button is probably a 'play' button that you can audition the patches with.           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

I don't think I'll need this one but I have a Poly Evolver key and Prophet 08 key and they are both great. The software editors are a must. It took a little time to learn to record parameter changes and have cubase read the transmit the sysex data back but...off topic.

This is 100% analog even with VCA's unlike the prophet which uses DCA's.

Nice price! And you can control it with a prophet 08.           ELECTRON EYES / MARK-EVAN (NOR. CAL)
