Just finished a new track. I think slowish prog. trance with some ambient elements might be the best description.
Stream it on my website (the top track called Katla):
http://steinholtz.dk
Or download here:

Enjoy.
ps: Is this where you are suppose to post new tracks? Its quite confusing that the New Tracks section is under Help, and this Workshop thing seems to be more for colloaboration. I dont need help I just want to post a finished track! Oh well |

I really like the atmosphere here - very good, wide pads and verbs, and some of the leads and synths sounds very oldschool trancy. The lead-melody after big breakdown tended towards cheesiness, but I think you stopped it just before it became too much.
The intro could maybe be a bit shorter, and the outro could have been longer - try to make a ~60 second long loop after the lead-melody fades out, as the beat does stop quite abruptly as it is now. (Plus, as a DJ I think it will be more DJ-friendly this way )
Concerning the technical side it seemed a little bit muddy at places, but overall pretty good.
This section is for Work In Progress tracks by the way, and the New Tracks is for complete tracks I think.

Im glad you like it.
Yeah its not very party/dj friendly. I made it mostly as a headphone track. Its also quite slow (128).
I totally agree that the lead melody/arp in the end almost gets cheesy/melodic trance'ish (my hate genre), in the build up phase, but when the beat starts it kind off evades the cheesiness i think.
I dont think its muddy - warm is the word.
