Apologies if i didnt search properly but I can't find the info regarding my issue which is the new/upgraded timestretching tool in Cubase after version 3X.In Cubase SX 3 you can choose between Mpex 2,Standard,Drum and Realtime.....but in Cubase 4 you only have two options....Mpex 3 and Realtime. Are there any hidden areas where I could change the settings to have more options in 4 aswell....like for e.g if I also wanted to use the drum or standard settings???

@zero_the_hero....thanks for the link but I did find the same link while I was searching.I have tried the different timestretch settings with Cubase 4 and 5 but just dont't get the same results I got with Cubase 3.Like I mentioned above it has the drum and standard settings which the upgrades don't have......the standard setting is the one I use the most.Is it possible to get exactly the same results with the upgrades after Cubase SX3?????

I'm also back on C3 but it does feel and look like its software from the 80's...heheehe!Other than offline processing the timestretch is one of my favourite functions......but yes it does look like Steinberg changed it.So I guess it just boils down to using everything for what it's good for but would be so much better just having one DAW that can do everything......including making breakfast aswell as preparing some of the finest......!
