I just was in "office depot" (Israel)
I saw really cool looking cd-r's
Ben-Q DJ something
it looks like vynil

cool gimmick for DJ's
Personally I prefer Verbatim Crystal series
I believe that it's protective layer is more efficient

what's your opinion of the most reliable CD-R for DJ'ing???

I had a problem which the CDJ`s couldn`t read my CDR. I dont know what I`m using but there`s medias designed for audio?

there are special cd-r's for digital audio
You can find it in music equipment stores I guess

The problem you described usually happens with cheap or dirty/damaged cd's
That's why you should look for cd's with a protection layer and a bright or special easy to read surface on the "B-Side" so the lens will catch the trail easier and won't cause distortion
