twas also rambo thing these were really nice games with commodore 64.. but the most I liked the ultima V tho it was ugly as hell, it was the mother of all role playing games ever

Yuli, in rambo, did u know that in that game if u take 2 joysticks and place them on auto fire and point them in 2 diffrent driections at the stage where you have to escape with the prisoners in the helicopter, you fly so fast till the end witout having to confront the russian mi-24? and yes ultima was the best... agreed.

didn't know about the trick in rambo.. did u manage to finish ultima tho? i managed once i think... it was quite a hard one as far as I remember

yuli - I've never finished ultima, it was too hard. I did manage to finish Maniac Mansion, Zack McKracken, Impossible mission, and the Last Ninja.. those were tough games as well. ahh what great memories...
nectarios - SID and MOD formats are awesome! you are so right, i can't beleive you remember that stuff.
I never had any of that: Amstrad CPC 464 and Spectrum ZX 128 shed some light on these devices?

i finished ultimas 6 through eight.. totally ruined my early teenage years i was a complete addict
before that stuff (which was on pc anyway) i had a commodore plus four.. even shitter than a c64! my favourite game was some pool game.. but i only had a black and white monitor

Shit man this retro is too hard... Ha Ha ofcourse I remember the one that carried the heads it was hillarious the first time I saw it me and my friends went nuts.. This was really cool idea
btw later on I upgraded to Amiga which was a major step forward and then suddenly the role playing started being 3d ( but ofcourse ) and Bards Tales were a real awesome series + some nice basketball and a lot of flight simulators F18 me thinks..
