Hello, fellow isratrancers!

I want to share with you my new track.

This is another attempt at self-imposed "dogme" of using only hardware and tweaking it live. Of course I hope the result stands on its own merits, but in any case it does sound different from a DAW production.

Nice stuff I think the entire tune is lovely, but it would be a such a sick tune if you put a "DAW produced" kick and bass under it I love this dynamic, organic and almost ethereal feel psytrance gets when the elements on the tune are actually played and not overproduced.

Hi knocz!

Thank you! I appreciate all feedback, especially when it's so constructive and encouraging as yours

What do you mean by "DAW produced kick and bass"? Do you mean punchy and cutting bass, of the kind that can be easily done on modern VSTs, or sidechain compression? If so, then it's out of question unfortunately. But maybe it's something I can achieve or work around? I'm just learning what's possible with this setup, and surely haven't reached the limit yet.

Cheers,
Boris

Yep, using software and micro-editing to get it just right

You can still achieve this, if you have a stem recorded without the kick and bass - it should just be a matter of loading up the stems on your favorite DAW, make sure the tempo is aligned, and start from there (the mix between analogue hardware and digital hardware is very nice -> you can really get the best of both worlds).

But surely you haven't reached the limit, you'll need a couple of lifetimes to maybe get close and then some new guy comes from nowhere and shows us all a new world of possibilities
