Been looking forward to this for years now and finally found this info at http://www.chillography.net/blog/2009/09/5-questions-with-kalpataru_tree/:
"Who can ever say whats next for anything? I can tell you what I want to happen: I want to share my music with the world in a financially sustainable way – record releases, live gigs, radio play, etc…Ive got a release coming out on Cyberset records next year – that should help. I’ve got other labels that are flirting with the idea of a release as well. I’ve got a ton of unreleased material! I basically want to make music + share music in environments conducive to what I do, and have it not come out of my pocket."
Hope this will finally come true, i love this wonderful and unique music!

thx for the info.
This guy has a wonderful cosy sound, the live bass gives it a real richness . The live set @ Priceless is superb , really hope some of that gets released this year. And someone please book this guy for some European festivals ! |
