Hi there,
is anyone in here using the Neuron VS native VST Plugin?
I think about buying it and want to know how much CPU it consumes....

Alright Denny.
I´ll PM her and ask about it, it seems this Synth is not that frequently used....
I thought bout buying it because actually u can get it for 149.- @thomann. So i was just curious about the CPU Power it consumes , cause this is the only showstopper concerning the VST´s....

the cool thing is that you can record your own waveforms to the oscilators... havent tryed it thoug, but i think it would be awsome for psychedelic music

i just bought it and have troubles to run it stable, it consumes alot of cpu power aswell. some presets need about 70% cpu lol and its running on a 3 giga pc with 512 ram 
149,- is a fine price but there is no support and garanty included from hartmann, its a unauthorised version ... after buying it i saw it on the hartmann homepage, fuck

as i said it's running very unstable, i have crackles in the sound and sofar i try'd 3 times to reinstall it with no success, so dunno if its worth buying it, coz you wont get updates from the manufacturer  |

Hey Jaramogi,
i talked to Psynina and she´s happy with the Synth.
She said she can use up to 3 Instances with her 2,2 Ghz Pc - i don´t think it depends on the memory...
But then i don´t know how big those models are...
Maybe u can connect with her and ask her if she´s willing to send u her version - u have this Dongle/Nuke thingy ;-) so there would be no problem.
Maybe this would nail ur problems.
And , i decided to not buying it because i heard some ppl have even problems with the installer which is not running or their DVD´s can´t be detected or whatever.
This whole action seems to turn out really strange in the end its a pain in the ass for the customer.
So - thanks for ur reply even if it was a bad one ;-)

1. it uses a lot of cpu power
2. there is only one version, no updates since long time, im dunno if there will be any
3. on the hartmann site in the members area the only thing youll find is the modelmaker soft
4. technically its not really correct that you use your own waveforms for the oscs, this is wavetable synthesis. On the neuron you can use own waveforms to create the models for the oscs. For this you need the modelmaker software.
5. I also heard that some people have problems with the dvds. Seems to be bad dvds. Also more problem on the pcs. On my mac it was a simple click and install action
