I saw a live from an act called Nerve last weekend. I really enjoyed it. Also, I have some tracks from them, but I don't know anything about this act. I read somewhere on this forum that Nerve=Mos. But that doesn't help me as I know nothing about Mos either.
Can anyone give me info or point me in the right direction?

could whichever knowledgable pesrson that answers kurtis question also enlighten us as to what M.O.S. translates into english as. i'm curious.. something something children without something else... but what ?

MOS have just released their 3rd album called Drive which kicks ass!
MOS is Mittelstanskinder Ohne Strome (and I'm sure I got this mispelled.) which means kids without direction or something.
Nerve was a more progressive project by them and released the great Channel 59 / Nervous ep which sure kicked dancefloors back in 2000.

There is a new Nerve 12"/CDS coming up soon in Pinwheel Rec.
Including the remix to the famous Channel 59.

and btw, Olli - half of MOS - spins real nice...saw him do a real progressive fest for like 3/4 hours a couple of months ago.

Indeed Luiz. Olli is one of the best dj I saw this year. Nice spin style and great tracks too.
BTW, the rmx of Channel 59 is awesome.

Hey, thanks a lot everyone.
I have a new mix CD by DJ Domino with a track by Nerve called "No Foco." It's a pretty good track IMO. The track is w&p by C. Bruckhaus and N.D.M. and indeed, Luiz, licensed from Pinwheel Records, Germany. |
