last year i found a very young local boy in my tent, was scrolling through my bag, i caught him in there but let him go as he was too young, did not know what to do....

Had a similar experience but with a really really really tiny old woman! She scared the begeezes outta me! Came to our tent and spoke non stop and we didn't understand a word she was saying..
She sat for almost 20mins rambling on n on.. after a while we gave her a little money and she went to the neighbor's tent and did the same with them! 
Later we find the security dudes had caught her with sleeping bags and food etc etc n her basket that she had sneaked off with!
So yea, wouldn't suggest carrying your luggage!

Haha .. I do remember her .. She came to us and spoke for a while .. didnt understand a word ..
But then gave her some money and she carried on her path ahead ..
We too stayed in Thamel for a week and rented a place there .. Main luggage was kept there and carried the rest to the festival .. Our camp was all safe .. And guess was the same all around ..

pls carry ur own tents, there won't be many tents up for rent this time.
Thamel is a bit farther away from the location but makes sense to dump bags and heavy luggage there and carry bare essentials to the festival.

In fact Dogon's n my tent were neighbouring tents and we had no trouble! I would leave stuff strewn areound the tent to find it right even my exclusive Lambert n Butler cigarettes

Last year proved how bad I am at making travel arrangements and I reached Nepal a day late. This years line up is going to make sure I get there on time. See you guys there.
