and about the kurds - unless you can give me any comparable monument like jerusalem ( which proves that the kurds belong to a certain sacred land and it is theirs, i dont see any reason for you to compare the situation with the jews. and neither the kurds, nor the gypsies nor anyone has a similar prove of cultural heritage. so can we have a break now? i find it really unbelievable what i read here.

besides i already explained why israel came to existence in 1948. because it was a friend of the states, and the states wanted that. nowadays it doesnt look like that. why? what happened?

Of course, it won't be internationally recognized, so any warlord can roll a tank up onto your nation and make you their bitch, and nobody will help you. Before that happens, you will have no economy whatsoever and have to rely 100% on importing goods from whatever country surrounds yours, as well as paying yummy trade taxes, lol, especially since relations with your neighbors obviously won't be high on your government's agenda. (The price of being "an island".)

I mean WTF...
Look if you want to pick on a certain group of people you will always be able to find faults and negatives no matter who they are.
Also remember that culture can divide people very much and it is handed to you without much choice. They pass it on to you just like they passed it on to them without much thought. They indoctrinate it on you and before you even start thinking about it you are already filled with tons of prejudisms and assumptions about life and other people that have maybe nothing to do with what you truly would believe if you were to have a free thinking head.
So you have to take this into consideration before you point a finger at people and their culture.
And its a challange to grow beyond culture but maybe beyond is where the truth that unites us is really at. |
