Hey man.
I feel you could bring forth the base abit more.
Perhaps it is that you have a lot of sounds in the beginning with some low end, making the base hiding in the back a little bit.
In the first tune there is abit of muddyness. especially from some of ure atmo sounds.

If you are going to release it i think you could work a bit more on the mixes.
The next tune sound clearer, I think your perc´s could be more emphasized tho.
In the second track(on my monitors)the base is little muddy, but in my headphones it sound good.

But sounding good, nice tunes.

yeah its sounds nice indeed i have to agree with grevinsky , i am still learning and take the time to learn about eq ! spent everyday a hour or more on eq 'ing and do your sounds one by one and try to find the muddy erea 300 t/m 800 hz lets say and you will hear some clearnes or not ! use for example fabilter and boost on ereas were you think you will here muddyness and make your q smaller and scan for low or noize then cut them out ! I can feel your music brother if your mix is cleaner then doors will be opend Namaste

Thanks Guys for yur advice. good words for now.

Thanks Grevinsky, yeah i know. my percs are a lil low but i choose this as my mix concept. as i can crank my speakers really loud here and no one cares

so i made for me the decission that more bass and less highs is better for music that would played loud.

if i compare with new full on stuff wich came out recently (utopia records stuff and that)
when i hear this on the same volume. most of the tracks will hurt in the air...

dont know if i am doing totally wrong here but for me its logical that sound that is played on a big system should have less highs.

because on that volume where you gonna feel the bass it sounds equal.

if the system is not loud enough it sounds muddy, and maybe bass is to prominent i know that

any thoughts on this?

b-recluse. yeah thanks. thats the point. its everything about equing and compress in the finalmix. getting better every day

i think the bass is very good but you should increase the volume a little bit and make it more dynamic (to have that punch which enter in your soul haha ) and try to put more reverb on those hihats. keep up the good work ! cheers
