a bit offtopic but i think you shouldn't use this term for the artists and tracks u mention.

i've heard that term before, from techno DJs.. seems it's a pretty dynamic sub-genre.
There's a great compilation called 'Neo-Trance' from last year.

i just call it neo trance because has more ambiences wich i relate to old trance than the most of the minimal-tech-house that is produced wich i like it aswell

The artists you mentioned are
very good.
The term Neo Trance ,I suspect is another attempt to sell something different to people that would buy only trance.Btw there was this compi going around quite a while ago .......
It doesnt have nothing to do with what people generally refer to as trance.
ANd Im pretty sure Arne and Wayan wouldnt be too happy to have their music described as.....neo trance ;-)
It is just tecno to me. |

There is much tech house/minimal techno stuff with trance elements.Neo Trance maybe had an existance for a while.Border Community early sounds perhaps.And for sure Arne and Wayaan know about that term.The first time I saw the term Neo Trance was at G+ records site where Arne and Wayaan were promoting the monstrous Soopertrack just before be unleashed!Also a known minimal techno/tech house producer called Tigerskin has released a track called Neontrance,and it was a great deep techno tune!Check Dozzy records and all the stuff that been produced by its roster,when deep techno meets lysergic acid trance!So I don't like the term neotrance also,I would prefer the "lysergic minimal" term
