Nelly Furtado had Sonic Fusion for dinner?

Around 2005 there was the rumor that Sonic Fusion, the godfather of psytribal (www.sonic-fusion.com), has produced a dance version of the 80s chart hit »Maneater« on Juno Records.

Now that Nelly Furtado is in the international top 10 charts with her version of »Maneater« those restless rumors rise up again!
Insiders of the Los Angeles music scene spread the rumor that Sonic Fusion has met Nelly Furtado several times in L.A. in the year 2003. Some say that they were just making music, while others claim that the psytribal guru and Nelly had a thing going on.
Sonic Fusion’s official statement is that he has not produced the remix of »Maneater« for Juno Records and that he, unfortunately, has never personally met Nelly Furtado.
However Sonic Fusion says that he has actually produced an unreleased downbeat track he called »Maneater«, interpreted by an unknown American female singer and recorded in California, and that this track was no remix.

I don't give a rats ass about who nelly furtado is, who she's f*cking, and whether or not she did a rmx/cover of a track I've never even heard of. |

Neuromantik,Maneater is a very very famous song which i bet you have listened like everyone else in this forum but you just cant remember right now.
Heard the samples on the Juno site and they are both very nice BUT the way the whole thing is presented both in this forum and on the Sonic Fusion website (grandfather of psytribal,legendary progressive trance producer,3 million viewers,international top ten charts and blah blah blah) is in my humble opinion exaggerated and even funny in some points and prevents people from checking out Sonic Fusion's beautiful music and even creates negatives comments like the ones from Neuromantik above.
I suggest to keep on making those great tunes and hire someone to fix your website texts and promotional material a little because words like 'legendary producer' and 'grandfather of psytribal' belong mostly to young wannabe artists who think that are hotshots rather to a serious producer who is into the industry for 20 years already.Using phrases like 'a worldwide established producer' and 'one of the innovators of psytribal' sound more down to earth and are better to use when talking about yourself to others
