ask in a forum where people appreciate this style more than here, could be a tip. sounds ok for the style to me but cannot comment how good or bad this is. really no idea.           http://soundcloud.com/vipal

yeah you're right, but i don't find any forum online about EDM (and house), that have so many 'producers that participate' then isratrance have.

once again, thank u very much for your time!

i like the bassline, groovy. also the lead sounds.... but is this a construction kit or original sounds and programing.

the whinning synth at 1:30 grrr awsome love that sound.

the beats are a bit too obviously loops (if not then they sound that way)

vocals are original?

if everything here is original (or at least most of it) = great track!

if this is loop packs then = great loop pack

Hi faxinadu,

thanks for your time listening and review.

from the original i've used 5 stems:

- the female vocal 'feeling blue';
- that whinning arp;
- the guitar fx; (that goes with the whining arp at 1:30 and in the outro section)
-the Orchestral Strings (that are used in the chorus/climax as in the buildup)
- the piano chord progression. (that shows only on the chorus/climax)

For stems, i've only processed them in a very light way... reverb, delay, and eq to fit in my mix.

The piano, besides EQ, and just a tinny bit of reverb (since the original had some amount of it) i've used an evelope shaper from cubase to cut out completly the attack of the piano) and get only the tail.

then i've layered it with my leads, playing the sample chords (i hope, lol) ... so you get the attack and tail of the supersaw leads, mixed with the original piano chord stem in the background.

and here in the chorus/climax and buildup i've another vsti (JP6K again) with a midi melody mine too.

those chords of mine, are slightly diferent. (the chords are the same, and in the same place, but in one VST i've added ghost notes to make them a little diferent and more full in the overall section).

Regarding drums.

the high pitched toms/snares that goes for almost all the track lenght. they are from a loop. i've just sliced the hits, re-arrenged some of the hitpoints and proccessed them with delay.

my snares are taken from some single hit samples, and one cuted out from a loop. yep.

the hats & tamborine groove, are pure single hits arranged in midi track.

but yeah...i've sample some drum hits from one or two drum loops. cuted out what sounded nice and used them.

but u're right... i don't change the midiparts nor the single hits that i've sampled along the track (only in trasition parts) and that is probably a negative side of it.

bassline is mine too. i belive i'm using the same notes has the original..but using JP6K VSTi.

once again thank you very much for your time mate!

here is the original for reference:

the track actually starts very cool and reminded me of son kite colours album.. it turns into a mighty cheesball then which i did not expect ;-)
anyway, for what it is, you have done a great job imo, good arrangement, tight production. nice buildup.. what else could you want?

actually to me it is better than the original.           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

@ klippel

thanks for your time listening and review..

well the thing with it it's that i don't normally do dance/house tracks.

and this is my first finished one, so i needed some feedback from ppl who produce electronic music regarding arrangment, buildup, etc, etc

and as a personal notice, i'm still very unconfident with the sound that i make, i can't help it.
to me my tracks are allways a 'not good enough', but i believe that i need to keep working and sharing more music to grab more honest feedback. (to gain some confidence, or not )

thanks once again for you time mate!

right, i know exactly what you are talking about as i am never confident with my stuff as well, BUT you have a pretty decent sound with clean and tight production and good musical arrangement. so stop bugging yourself around and feel confident as you might be a better producer than some well known ones out there from what i can hear in this track!           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

sounds good (quality), but i get the feeling the drums are just good samples, and its not your own mixing skills.

cant say anything about songstructure, because i just listened to the quality.
