Need to RIP aduio from a VOB file

which programs would allow me ?
cool edit pro / virtual dub and SF doesnt work
any recomendations 
if its been asked earlier please direct me to that thread

yo tilak ,,,
VOB files r usally the format for the dvd discs...
the only way i know to rip audio from a VOB file is on nuendo ,,,
its possible there ,,, just go to the file menu and extract audio from video file ,,, and itll allow you to get the full audio file from the VOB extension
ill let u know if thers n e other possible way of doin it

I second Aeon: ImTOO DVD Audio Ripper is the tool I use to rip the samples out of my DVD's. Works great! |

And with this software u can rip the entire audio into seperate channels , say for example the entire background score on 1 channel and the speech on another channel?

imo its not possible to split the stereo track into seperate tracks ... its one major final mixdown/master they bounce along with the video ....
if theres some tool which can split it its some hardcore stuff then lol ...
if u need the vocals from the audio .. ul need to eq it or use something like a reNOVAtor or something
or if u need the background score ul need to eq it again or use something like a vocal remover ... some fx plugs have this preset too
