sound forge is a wave editor not a sequencer.
I think you should try ABLETON live5 for begining |

if you want to build a kick that based on pure sine wave sound forge will be the best choice..
dont be gentle with the pitch |

It's the way to a good kick,
also play with cutting out smaller segments of the kick (maybe around mids etc.) and creating short fade-ins/outs in certain sections of the wave...
It's the way forward in kick-making!
